Ervin C. Westphal

Age 82, of White Bear Lake, passed away November 4, 2020. Preceded in death by wife, Evonne and brother, William.  Survived by children, James (Michele), John (Jan), and Michelle (Duane) Garner; grandchildren, James, Jr. and Heidi Westphal, and Evan Garner; brother, Lloyd (Patricia); nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Ervin loved to hunt in the woods for Deer, geese, turkey, pheasants and rabbits. Also, he enjoyed going out west to hunt prairie dogs. He enjoyed traveling and spending time  with his family. Which included going out to Colorado and Wisconsin and many places in between . He liked fishing as well.  Ervin caught the treasure hunting bug and used a metal detector to help find his treasures. On his down time, he liked to read everything from current news, cars/trucks and what the best gun to get for hunting. Action and comedy movies were one of his favorite things to watch. When he wasn't involved with the whole family, he enjoyed going out with his wife and friends to go dancing. He spent 12 years of his retirement in St. George, Utah, and returned to Minnesota in 2019. He really enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
A celebration of Ervin’s life will be Wednesday, November 11, 2020, 11:30 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  The service will also be livestreamed at the link below.  Interment Fairview Cemetery.
