Ethel Eggar

Ethel M. Eggar (nee Blasena), age 90, of Houlton, WI, died peacefully on November 7, 2016, at Deerfield Gables Care Center in New Richmond, WI. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Frieda; son, Frank Jr.; and son-in-law, Peter Kepler. Survived by loving daughters, Winkel (James) Lay, Ruth Kepler, Fran (Tim) McGee, Kathleen (Pat) Dougherty; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Abby, Alice, Meta, Sarah, Zeb, Joe and Emily; eight great-grandchildren, Sam, Belle, Ben, Ella, Victoria, Aidan, Fiona and Paxson; sister, Helen (Dennis) Finley. Mom was known for her love of family, flowers, lighthouses and bells, traveling and playing cards; she was a fun, friendly lady with a great smile. She will be missed. Thank you to the compassionate caregivers at Deerfield Gables Care Center and the exceptional aid of St. Croix Hospice. Service Saturday, November 12 at 12 Noon with visitation 1/2 hour prior to the service at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater. Private family interment Roselawn Cemetery.
