Our beloved mother and grandmother, Evangeline 'Van' Nolde, died peacefully and surrounded by family on April 19, 2024.

Van was the heart of our home and family. She raised five children, Theresa (Carl), Michael (Colleen), Thomas, David and Kathleen, in a happy and loving home to be independent and thoughtful adults.

Van was married for 64 years to her soul mate, Gerald, who preceded her in death. As a grandmother to Alexandra (Eric), Christine, David and Anna, she was generous in providing love and inspiration as well as instilling in them a strong sense of family.

Van was known for her welcoming personality and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of our family and cherished among friends. She will be dearly missed.

A mass will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church in Stillwater, MN on Thursday April 25th at 11 AM, with a visitation beginning one hour before at 10 AM. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass for guests.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family. Any donations will be sent to the Hospice Support Foundation.
