Evelyn Fredrickson

Evelyn H. Fredrickson, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 11, 2013 at the Gables of Boutwells Landing.
Evelyn was born August 21st to Harry and Lydia (Ciesman) Peterson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The family later moved to Oak Park Heights, and eventually to Bayport, where she lived most of her adult life. She graduated from Stillwater High School and worked as a secretary at Andersen Window Corporation. There she met her future husband Tom. They were married October 11, 1940 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater.
Evelyn dearly loved her family, enjoyed playing the piano, and had a fondness for animals. She had a gentle manner, and a kind heart. She always liked to compliment those around her.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Tom of 56 years, brother -in -law Charles Mereness and nephew Richard Mereness.
Surviving are her daughters Susan (Richard) Mikkelson of Stillwater, Paula (David) Sydow of Brimfield, Illinois; Grandchildren Mark (Joan) Mikkelson, Mary (Pete) Curoe, Eric (Sharon) Sydow, Gregg (Nicole) Sydow; Great grandchildren Sarah, James and Ben Curoe, Sophia Mikkelson, Tabby And Tom Sydow, And Ava Sydow; Sister Carol Mereness; cousin Charles Ciesman and Nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater, with the Reverend Candace Moser officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
