Evelyn was born with bright eyes, a wise soul, and an incredible spirit. She was also born with a rare neuromuscular disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Despite many obstacles, Evie lived her life to the fullest and brought incredible joy and laughter to all she touched in her 27 months on earth. The love her family has for her pales in comparison to the love Evie had for the world and it's countless wonders. Today she dances in heaven in the arms of Jesus, with her big brother by her side. Evie is preceded in death by her big brother, Nolan. She is survived by her parents, Carissa and Bryan Keister; grandparents, Steve and Lynn Keister and Myron and Joan Nelson; great-grandmothers, aunts and uncles, beloved cousins and many extended family and friends. A celebration of Evie's life will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 6 p.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Afton, with a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
