Age 96, of Roseville, MN, died on January 16, 2023
Evelyn was born at home in Frogtown in 1926 to Albert and Lousia. At age 5 the family moved to the Como area where she attended school and graduated from St. Andrews. In 1953 she married James and they purchased a home and started a family together. They watched six children grow up in that house. James passed in 1999 and she continued to live in her home until her health prevented her from living alone. She moved to Roseville at the end of 2021 and made new friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Happy Hour. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her smile.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Sr.; grandson, Robert M; daughter-in-law, Sheri Lynn; parents, Albert and Lousia; brothers, Albert E, Frank, Fred, William, Carl, Robert, and Baby boy Loeffler; and sisters, Wilhelmina, Mildred, and Dorothy.
Survived by her children, Sharon, Joan (Keith) Long, James Jr., William (Ziggy & Spot), Linda (Bruce), and Robert Sr. (JJ); grandchildren, Kevin (Aimee), Steven (Nicki), Bobby Joe, Joshua (Jill), Eric, and Angeleah (Allen); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Drake, Trevor, Cecilea, Charles, and Keenan; brother-in-law, Joe; and sister-in-law; Donna; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street) with visitation one hour prior to service.
Interment 1 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
