Florean Poss

Florean Dean Poss, 75, of Oak Grove, MN passed away Aug. 14, 2014. He is the son of the late Florean & Loretta Poss. Dean was born January 3, 1939 at home in Hugo, CO. He graduated from Hugo High School. Dean went into the military May 2, 1962 & served in the 5th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO. He was married to Meredith Carll on November 14, 1964.
Dean was very involved with family and friends. The faith in God he had was his life. He was an excellent carpenter & farmer. He loved building projects & helping others. Dean & Meri Jo lived in Eriksdale, MB Canada for 16 years & lastly resided at Oak Grove MN.
Dean was survived by his wife, Meredith; son Daniel; daughter Linda (Everett) Boyd; Six grandchildren - Ahnika (Jeremy) Sharman; Tanzi (Jamin) Seversen; Laina (Kyle) Marykuca; Amanda (Mike) Little; Arlyn Boyd; Jenna Boyd, Three great grandchildren - Jasper Sharman; Tryn Seversen; Boyd Little and one on the way. Brothers, Bill, Richard & Jim. Sisters, Judy, Charlene, Mary, Terry. He was predeceased by his parents, an infant son and two sisters.
