Florence Putnam

PUTNAM, Florence J. (nee Barry), 91, of Minneapolis, died peacefully in her sleep at home in the wee hours of December 2, 2003. Born at home in Underwood, MN, she attended Moorhead State Teachers College and taught school before her marriage. She moved to Minneapolis as a newlywed where she lived until her death on Tuesday. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth E. Putnam, she is survived by her children, Karen Ellingson (Graham), St. Paul, Frederic Putnam (Christine), Colorado Springs, CO, and Deborah Newcomb, Minneapolis; grandchildren, Vanessa Putnam of Juneau, AK, Alexandra Putnam of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Blake Putnam (Laura) of Edwards, CO. Mass and interment, Underwood, MN. Memorials preferred to American Heart Association or the American Arthritis Foundation.
