Lundt, Floyd Henry
was born May 27, 1913 in the Township of Wyoming, Waupaca County, Wisconsin to Otto and Minnie Lundt. He returned home with the Lord on February 23, 2007 in Stillwater, MN with his family by his side. Floyd came to Minnesota as a young man to be employed by a small cheese factory near Princeton and Milaca, MN. He met LaVerne Minks and they were married on December 21, 1940. They moved to Stillwater where he was employed at Maple Island Creamery. Later, he was employed by Snowland Foods. He also served as a guard at the MN Correctional Institution.
During his retirement, Floyd enjoyed working as a courier for Valley Dental. He and LaVerne were very active members of Trinity and St. Paul Lutheran Churches. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by brother, Warner (Barbara) of Appleton, WI; sister, Nettie of Tigerton, WI; sisters-in-law, Lorraine(Enno) Bouma, and Harriet Minks, all of Stillwater, MN; many loving
nieces, nephews, godchildren, and numerous friends. Floyd was a kind, gentle and loving man. His deep faith in God was reflected in how he lived his life. He was an inspiration to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Service Tuesday 1PM at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 609 S. 5th Street. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation Monday 5-7PM at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5). and one hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church Sunday School
