Francis "Fran"
Beloved husband of Vickie and father of Tracy (Christopher) Kuehnel and Gregg (Laura). Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 21, 2014. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, especially his grandchildren Logan (Brit), Tyler, Cassie (Tom), Gabe and Mitchell. He took pride watching the grandchildren grow through sports, hunting, graduating from college and marriage. A gifted handyman who enjoyed building, creating and fixing many things, especially for his bride of 54 years. Fran was a longtime employee of Gross-Given Mfg. until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed summers at the cabin, country dancing, hunting, fishing and time spent with friends and relatives. A special appreciation to the valets, hospital volunteers, doctors, nurses and staff at UMMC and the Masonic Center for their wonderful care and concern. Their positive attitudes and kindness helped us make our journey through cancer treatment. Special thanks to Lucy for her endless patience. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 9:30AM at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway St. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5 ) Stillwater and Friday beginning at 8:45am at the church.
