Frank Holm
Frank went to his heavenly home February 19, 2021. He was born March 5, 1930 in Aberdeen, SD. He is preceded in death by his parents. Frank married Betty Lay on March 17, 1951. Together they had three children. After marriage they went to Kalispell, MT where he worked in the lumber industry. They moved back to Minnesota where he had various jobs. Lived in Hibbing where he worked in the mines driving Euclid trucks. After the mines closed, moved to Duluth where he was furniture manager at Gambles. Things were slowing down after the mines shut down and he was offered to work at the Bayport Prison and he became a Correctional Sargent after taking college courses. He worked there for 25 years, 19 of those years at the prison hospital. He retired in March of 1988. Then, he drove school bus for three years. After that, he and his wife went traveling until they settled in Tucson, AZ for 20 years in the winter. They moved back to Stillwater in 2011 where he lived out the rest of his time. Frank was always a hard worker and couldn't sit still for very long. He loved his family as he was an only child. He was getting tired, so the Lord called him home very suddenly. Frank became a Christian when he was 20 years old, and has loved the Lord ever since. Survived by wife, Betty; sons, Larry and Randall (Pamela); daughter, Pam (Joe Cote); 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews and many friends.
Service Saturday, February 27, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. The service will be livestreamed at the link below. Interment Withrow Cemetery.
