Frank Schroder

Frank S. Schroder, 87, of Afton, Minnesota died from Alzheimer’s on Thursday 12/30/2021 surrounded by family.

He was well loved and known for being the consummate gentleman.  He loved his career as an Engineer at 3M from which he retired in 1996.  His passions were travel, football, music, gardening and nature.  He was always eager to help everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lela and Miles Schroder, brothers Rex, Paul and Ernie, and his sons Dale and Dan.

He is survived by his beloved wife Ingrid, of 51 years, son David and daughter-in-law Kathy, daughter Beth and son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Maria and Holly, step-children Diane Mandell and step-son-in-law Jim, and step-son Ed Mandell, grandchildren Wes and granddaughter-in-law Dana, Josh, Emily and grandson-in-law Dan, Kristin and Erik, Brandon, Evan and Cooper, and great-grandchildren Grayson, Brandon and Josh, Juniper and Oscar, and numerous friends and neighbors.

A service will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home at 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater MN. 55082 on Thursday, Jan 6th 11:00am with visitation at 10:00am.
