Frank J. Wynne, age 79, from White Bear Lake, passed on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born on October 15, 1941 in St. Paul, MN to Frank and Mitzie Wynne, and the oldest of six children. He graduated from Washington High School in 1960 and joined the United States Air Force. He then attended the Dunwoody School of Business where he obtained his degree in business. Frank worked in the plastics industry for more than 35 years. Frank was united in marriage to Joan Gallus on August 23, 1968 at Holy Trinity Church, Royalton, MN. They were married 51 years. Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, many in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his numerous golfing buddies.
Frank is survived by his wife, Joan (Gallus) Wynne; sons, Jason (Erin) Wynne and Eddie (Jenny Prosser); grandchildren, Garret Wynne, Grayton Wynne, Sophie Wynne, and Brock Prosser; siblings, Jim Wynne, Karen Ritter, Mary Carol (Paul Abdella) Wynne, and Mike (Mary) Wynne; and special niece and nephew, Louy and Dave Theeuwen. He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Grossback and her husband, Larry Grossback.
Frank loved golf and was a member of Como Golf Course, Majestic Oaks Golf Club, Sawmill and Loggers Golf Clubs, Chisago Golf Club, the University of Minnesota Golf Club, and Oneka Ridge Golf Club. Frank loved coaching and watching his two sons play hockey. Frank was given 15 extra years of life after a history of esophageal cancer, heart disease, septic shock, and diabetes. His humor, jokes, and sassy nature will be missed by all who knew him.
