Age 88, passed away Feb. 10, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, George J. and Anna, and brother, George A. Survived by devoted wife of 65 years, Bernice; beloved father of Bernadine ?Bebe? and husband Earl ?Shell? Gordon, Holly Lynn ?Corky? and husband Bruce Zschokke, and Fred Wayne ?Joey? and wife Janice Glassing; dearest grandfather of Mary Christine and husband Douglas Gerrelts, Fredrick Laurence ?Larry? Glassing, Zachary Dean Lerner, Derek Jay and wife Elisabeth Zschokke, Ryan Joseph Zschokke, Daniel James Zschokke, and Tara Lynn Zschokke; dearest great-grandfather of Christine and Joshua Gerrelts; brother-in-law, Ervin and wife Juell Newhouse; sister-in-law, Lorraine Schofield; special friends, Stephanie Quam, Hank and Muriel Sperl, and Jim and Rita Petersen; also many nieces, nephews, and friends. Our thanks to all at Southview Acres Health Care Center, especially Patrice, Patti, Marie, Betty P., Michelle, Chris, Sofia, Alma, and Martha. Service Thursday, 2:00 PM at FIRST CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 5495 S. Robert Trail, Inver Grove Heights. Interment Old Salem Shrine Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00-9:00 PM at the church and Thursday from Noon ? 2:00 PM at the church. Fred will be missed for his warm smile, hearty handshake and sense of humor. He loved his family and was devoted to creating beautiful flowers for all to enjoy. In lieu of memorials, flowers are welcome.
