Frederick A. Yore

Age 79, the funniest man in Mahtomedi, left us June 25th. In addition to his quick wit and innate ability to make a pun out of everything, Fred had an encyclopedic knowledge of vintage autos, hand and power tools, antique weaponry, and surprisingly, Jasperware. Fred enjoyed his career as a manufacturers' representative and made a practice of writing creative sales reports and disrupting any meeting lasting over 30 minutes. Mechanically inclined, he had the ability to manufacture or repair nearly anything, for which his family and friends are grateful. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his brother, Richard (Kristi), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and his partner in 66 years of adventure, John. At his request there will be a private burial at Roselawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
