Frederick G. Zander, age 83, of Mpls., passed away on September 23, 2004 at the MN Veteran's Home after a courageous fight with leukemia. Preceded in death by his parents, Anton & Helen Zander; brothers, George, Mike, Bill and Jack; and sister, Rose.
Survived by beloved wife, Daisy of 55 years; sons, Eric (partner Dennis Bidwell) and Mark (Becky) of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Jamie, Allison, Diana and Nicholas; many nieces & nephews.
Service Wednesday at 11:00 AM at MT. OLIVE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3045 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis.
Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation, Tues., 5-8 PM at BRADSHAW, (McDivitt-Hauge),
3131 Minnehaha Avenue South and 1 hr prior to service at the church.
We will be forever grateful to all who helped care for Fred, the Veteran's Hospital; Mount Olivet Careview Home; Allina Hospice and Palliative Care; and the Veteran's Home. They are truly God's Angels on earth. Memorials to any of the above, the Leukemia Society, or donor's choice.
