Went home to the Lord on July 22, 2024.
Gary was born and raised in Des Plaines, IL. He attended college at Northern Illinois University where he received his undergraduate and master's degrees in business and met the love of his life, Bonnie. He began his career in the financial world as an investment capitalist, and then set out on his own and created Executive Installations Inc. - a commercial epoxy coating company. He was married August 1, 1970 to Bonnie Rechlin. They welcomed their daughter, Rebecca Anne, on January 30, 1980. After living in Barrington, IL, they decided to retire in sunny Sarasota, FL in 2017. They enjoyed summers in Minnesota with their family where Rebecca lives with her husband, Jeremy Marr, and their three children, Isaac (13), Clara (11), and Lucy (8).
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Ferne Stimpfl; and brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Patricia) Stimpfl.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 3rd at Emmanuel Studios, 1775 Old Highway 8 NW #111, New Brighton, MN, with visitation beginning one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Andrew Wommack Ministries.
