Stinar, Gary Lane
Born October 22, 1957 and passed away December 20, 2011 at home in St. Paul after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Julia (Blom) Stinar; brothers, Leroy and Lowell. Survived by loving wife, Linda; step-daughter, Jenny (Joe) Bergman; step-grandson, Tim; brothers, Bob, Lenny (Dianne), Carl (Debbie), Tom (Jeri); sisters, Sadie (Marv) Stavig, Shirley (Roger) Knase, Sally (Duane) Miller, Sharon Albrecht, Joyce (John) Ogren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends. Gary worked for the Ford Motor Co. TC Assembly Plant until 2007. He loved working at Ford and made many friends during his time there. He loved his family greatly. He enjoyed golf, fishing, watching the Twins and Vikings and always liked a good laugh - even during his illness. He will be forever missed and remembered always. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the U of MN Medical Center. We would especially like to thank Sarah, Jamie and all of the nurses on Unit 6A for their compassion and support. Memorial service Monday 11AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
