Ge Her

Ge Her (Niam Dang Zang Her), our beloved Mother, was born to Nhia Fue Yang and Ying Vang on April
25, 1963 in Laos. Her biological parents also had one son, who passed away at a very young age, and
one other daughter, Tong Yang.

At the very young age of seven months, Ge’s mother passed away and her father was called to military
duty. Ge was then adopted and raised by her Uncle and Aunt, Nchaiv Vaj Yaj and Ntxhia Vaj.
Along with her adopted siblings, brothers Tseem Tsu yaj, Ntsuab Nxthees Yaj, Author Yaj, Paul Moua
Yaj,jack Yaj, Weelai yaj and sister Nxtxawm Becky Yaj, Ge and her family came to Denver, Colorado,
United States of America in 1979, and started their new American life.

During the fall of 1982 while in Denver, Colorado, our beloved mother met and married our father Dang
Zang Her. From there, they moved to Kansas City, Kansas and started their new life together.
Ge worked as a Homemaker. She loved spending her time in the outdoors by being involved with
gardening and fishing activities, and, enjoyed her weeks volunteering with the church that she attended.
On June 11, 2020 our beloved mother passed away in her home in Brooklyn Park, MN. She was a loving
mother beyond just our family members, always lending a hand to support others in need. She lived by
her love and her faith in God.

Ge is survived by her husband Dang Zang Her, sons Tong Cher Her (Pamilia Lee), Kao Her, Xai Ger Her,
Nou Lue Her, PungChing Her; daughters Mai Her (Xue Vue), Xay Her (Khamdeng Anorath), Mao Her (Jim
Drye), Xong Her. She is also survived by three grandsons, Matthew Ricks, Kanden Anorath, and Jerimiah
Her; eight granddaughters, Jezebelle Yang, Susan Her, Kaylena Anorath, Amelia Perez, Maehlee Her,
Kaleah Anorath, Kyah Her, Alyssa Perez.
