Ge Xiong

Major XIONG GE (a.k.a. Ntsuab Zeb Xyooj) Age 86, beloved In-Law, Cousin, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father, Grandpa and Great Grandpa went to be with his Lord, Savior, and King peacefully on June 8, 2018 at his home, with his loving wife, five children, and family by his side, in Saint Paul, MN. He loved his wife for six decades, was a champion for his children, enjoyed seeing his grandchildren pursue higher education, and wondered what his great grandchildren's world in the future will look like. He loved his family. He lived a full and complete life, always surrounded by people of all walks of life who loved him and was unconditionally loved by him. Since birth, he attended churches in Laos, Thailand, and America (Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete, Illinois; First Hmong Missionary Alliance Church in Wausau, Wisconsin; Grace Hmong Alliance Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Eagle Brook Church in Woodbury, Minnesota; and Saint Paul Hmong Alliance Church in Maplewood, Minnesota). First, he was a man who fear God. And second, his success is measure by his love for God. Third, he was a man of principle, valor, honor, and integrity. As a military commander, fighting for the U.S. CIA in the Vietnam War, he committed 16 years of his life to supporting America's agenda in Southeast Asia. As a coach, he was a champion of competition and sportsmanship. As a farmer, he worked smart and provided a healthy alternative to his customers and made sure the land is improved for the next generations. As a husband, he was committed and jealous of the only wife God gave him. As a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he valued and encouraged the dreams of those under his care. He feared God and loved the images of God. He lived a life abundant. He was born in the Village of Pang Dong, Tasseng Ntsuab Ntxos Xyooj, Xeev Xieng Khouang, Laos on March 10, 1932. He is survived by his spouse Doua; daughter Ya, Lor and Tia; son Tou and Aly; sons-in-laws Nhia, Cha Fong, Cher Chong; daughters-in-laws Nou and Mai; 23 grandchildren, 9 grandchildren-in-laws, 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his youngest son during birth; father Chong Neng; mother Xia Her; brother Neej Tswb, Txos, and Ntxawg; and sister Mais or Niam Ntxwj Tuam Yaj. He is survived by sister Maiv Yias or Niam Caiv Ntxoov Thoj. He is also
survived by half-brothers Txawj Kuam, Paj Ceeb, Xeem Xais, Xeev Lav, and Xov Phiam; and half-sisters Txiab or Niam Ntxoov Vaj Yaj and Maly or Niam Wam Tswb Vaj. A memorial celebration and visitation will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, Minnesota Saturday, June 30, 2018 to Sunday, July 1, 2018, both days from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with services at 10:00 am and 6:30 pm, meals at Noon and 5:00 pm, and family time at 2:00 pm; ending with a lantern lighting and home going send off at 9:30 pm. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery and Chapel, 803 West Larpenteur Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, with a chapel service at 9:00 am, a military graveside service at 10:30 am, and a lunch reception at the cemetery chapel.
