Gene Alan Somerson

Age 70 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 9, 2019. Army veteran. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy; and siblings, Shirley, Jack, Russell, Dennis, and Doug. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barb; children, Erica (Brian) Johnson, and Julie; grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Our Lady of Peace hospice for their incredible and loving care. Memorial Service Friday, November 15 at 1:00 PM at BRADSHAW (3131 Minnehaha Avenue South) with visitation from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
