Age 95
Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 9, 2014. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry; son, Allen; sister, Beatrice Lukens; brother, C. George Lonning; and several brothers and sisters-in-laws. Survived by daughters, Claudia Karner and Marilyn Murphy (William); sons, Henry Karner (Joan) and Robert Karner (Kathy); daughter-in-law, Ann Karner and sister-in-law Lorraine Haugen. Gen had a large extended family of 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from 3M Company in 1981.
Visitation TODAY, Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 5:00-8:00pm at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Cty Rd 5), Stillwater. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 13 at 2:00 P.M. at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 Fourth Street North, Oakdale. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
