ROSSOW GENEVIEVE A
Age 67
Died August 30, 2014
Genevieve (Geni) Misukanis Rossow was born, the 8th of 10 children to Daniel and Helen Misukanis (Kolosky) on December 22, 1946 in East St. Paul, Minnesota. Preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings. Survived by her loving husband of 47 years: Lee; her children: Craig L Rossow (Susie), Jim D Rossow (Michele), her grandchildren: Delaney, Jonathan and Avery; one brother and three sisters. Geni's first love was always her family. Her kind, generous nature was contagious. She always put her family, friends, neighbors and employees ahead of her own needs.
Geni attended St. Bernard's High School, followed by graduation from the last class at Anker School of Nursing. While practicing her skills in the Labor/Delivery Department at Ramsey Hospital, she married Lee in 1968. She was the co-founder of several transportation-related businesses and through continuing education, Geni assumed leadership roles in payroll, accounting and occupational health.
Geni's faith was always important to her, even as she battled a courageous fight with cancer. As she suffered, her faith and family helped to ease her struggle. Geni will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she has touched. She truly made the "world a better place".
