Avid outdoorsman, golfer and bowler; U. S. Navy WWII veteran (Lieutenant JG); retired teacher and guidance counselor at Park Senior High, Cottage Grove, MN. Survived by loving wife of 69 years - Ruth; daughters Margaret VonFrick, Deborah Erickson (Mark), Elizabeth Dramdahl (Mark), daughter-in-law Cheri; siblings Wes Bauer (Louise), Arnie Bauer and sister Glenyce Sellard (Gene), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents George and Edna Bauer, son David, grandson Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
