Survived by wife of 64 years, LaWanda; children, Rosemary Darrow (Herb), Jeanne Engebretson (Bill), George (Bernadette), Judy Cocchiarella (Mario); 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald; and other loving relatives and friends. George was a lifelong Westside resident and an avid Minnesota sports fan. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at CHURCH OF SAINT MATTHEW, 490 Hall at Robie. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday , 1-5 PM at BRADSHAW, 488 Humboldt at South Wabasha. Memorials preferred.
