Passed away on December 19, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Bernice Ruth (nee Piper) and George W. Dyer, Sr. of St. Paul. Survived by son, Douglas W. of Eagan and daughter, Leslie Dyer-Wallace (Chris) of Tucson, AZ. He was a graduate of North St. Paul High School in 1950. Proud member and veteran of the USAF, active duty from 1951-1955, and served 32 years with the Air/Army guard and reserve. Member of St. Paul Lodge #3, and career State of MN employee. Passionate sports fan including U of MN Football and Hockey, USAF Academy sports, Vikings, Twins and North Stars. We will miss chatting with George "Buddy" and listening to his great stories. George was a first class Dad who took every opportunity to watch his children's activities with enthusiasm. His family and friends were very fortunate to have him in their lives. We love you Buddy. Service Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
