Died peacefully.Preceded in death by loving wife, Anne; brother, Harvey; sisters, Eleanor and Carol. Survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Retired from the St. Paul Post Office. Combat veteran of WW II and receiver of the Purple Heart . Past 4th District Commander of the VFW and Life member of VFW Post # 5 and Purple Heart Chapter #5. Thank you to the staff at New Harmony Care Center for your loving care of George. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30AM at CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD 197 W. Geranium. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass. Memorials preferred to the Ft. Snelling Rifle Team.
