Passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, George and Berdie. Survived by children, George (Elizabeth), Sharon (Joe) Furchner, Joanne (Jeff) Schwartz, and Glen (Dina); grandchildren, Jacqueline (Jason), Kyle, Madelyn, Jack, and Mason; sisters, Mary (Frank) Kern and Barb (Bill) Sonntag; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 55 year member of IBEW 110. Lifelong volunteer in the Rice Street community where he was recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to N.E.A.R., North End Board of Directors, District 6 Planning Council, St. Bernard's Men's Club and Ushers Club. He will be dearly missed!
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 2, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD, 187 Geranium Avenue West. Burial Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street at Magnolia, as well as one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
