Preceded in death by wife, Lois; parents, Roy and Mildred; siblings, Roy Jr., Joyce Rood and Don. Survived by children Janna (Leo Barnhardt), Lori (Kerry) Mildon, Ron (Gloria); grandchildren, Zach (Katie), Nick (Katie), Ben, Jac (Amber), Brandon (Kim), Melissa and Josh (Annie); great-grandchildren, Maverick, Carmody, Tessa, Melia, Hudson, Mya and Logan.
U.S. Navy veteran, piloted a Corsair in WWII and for 17 years in the Reserves.
Graduated William Mitchell Law School, practiced law in Dassel before moving to Litchfield where he practiced until retirement, serving as both City and County Attorney. He enjoyed his friends, golf and pontooning on Lake Ripley.
