Died on 1/17/05. George was proud of his family, his full career as a detective on the St. Paul Police Department, his service in the Navy during WWII, and his 2nd career as a Montana cherry grower upon retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Preceded in death by son, Bruce ?Herm.? Survived by wife, Irene; children Gail (Chuck) Gregory, Dennis (Micki), Debbie (Greg) Roy, Mark (Rachel), & Mary Kay Grant; grandchildren, Dawn, Chris, Jennifer, Amy, Jerry, Nicki, Angie, Kristen, Mallory, Katrina, Jake, Joe, & Brooke; great-grandchildren, Mackenna, Wyatt, & Noah; and brother, Stan. A very special thanks to the Maplewood Care Center. Private Services. Memorials preferred to the Maplewood Care Center.
