George Sutton Jr.

George Sutton Jr. was born August 12, 1949 to Lallie and George Sutton in Chicago, IL. George grew up in Robbins, IL. He attended Eisenhower High School. He served his country from June 23, 1969 to June 22, 1975 in the army. George loved sports and cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and eating.

George leaves behind one sister, Eula Mae Jones; three children, Mario Sutton, Marissa Voss, and Melinda Sutton; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews who were also like his own children, cousins, and friends.

George departed this life on November 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Sutton; mother, Lallie B. Sutton; father, George Sutton; sister, Victoria Lee; brother, Wilbert Sutton; three nephews, Anthony Voss, Kamare Jones, and Jamani Sutton; two nieces, Shaneen and Laniece Lee.

Funeral Service 11AM Friday, December 20th at Bradshaw, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
