Gerald Beedle

Gerald (Jerry) Beedle Jr., 87 of St. Croix Beach passed away on March 15th 2021 at the Christian Community Home of Hudson. Jerry was born February 21, 1934. He was an energetic advocate for workers' rights and a proud union member of Carpenters Local 87 and 322 and Painters Local 61. Jerry also took on active roles with the St. Paul AFL/CIO Regional Labor Federation, the St. Paul Building Trades and the Minnesota DFL. Due to covid-19 pandemic, no public funeral service will be held. A private graveside service for all family members will be held 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 23rd at Greenwood Cemetery, Denmark Township, MN. Jerry is survived by his children: Sheri Beedle-Kremer (Lee), Brian (Elizabeth), Kenneth, and Eileen Leewaye; brothers, Jack (Kathy), Tom, Doug (Peggy), Dan (Nancy), and Bob; sister, Leila Deliman; grandchildren: Mara and Mikayli Beedle, Andrew and Jennifer Beedle, Matthew and Joshua Leewaye, and Christine wright. Along with nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that in Jerry's honor, donations be made to the St. Paul Labor Studies Resource Center, c/o Brian Beedle, 1840 Queens Ave., So., Lakeland, MN 55043
