Longtime resident of Stillwater. Died peacefully May 6, 2010 surrounded by family at the Parmly Care Center in Chisago City, MN. Long time 3 M employee. Preceded in death by parents John and Helga; brother Lloyd; sisters Viola Dittmar and Hazel Mueller. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Orabell "Ozzie"; sons Gerald "Jerry", Jr. (Valerie), Fr. Thomas "Tom", Richard "Dick" (Jean) and Robert "Bob" (Cher); grandchildren Trevor (Aimee), Mark, Jonathan, Dustin, Bethany, Ashley, Brittney and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren Taylor and Alexis; brother John (Evelynne); sisters Lucille Jahns, Ruth Hanson and Bernice Dodds; brother-in-law Edward "Sonny" (Kathy) Ostrom; sister-in-law Cookie (Ted) Burlingame. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 a.m., at the CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF THE LAKES, Balsam Lake, WI. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW Corner of Hwy 36 and County Rd. 5) Stillwater and 1 hour prior to mass at the church. Memorials preferred.
