Age 87, of St. Paul
Passed away suddenly on January 16, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Don; parents, Jim and Jo Deeg; brother, Jim "Frank" Deeg; and great-grandson, Henry Klos. Beloved mother of Linda (Gary) Rudeen, Jim (Judy), Jack (Jill Hondel), Rick (Alice Branum), Sue (Larry) Winger, and Bob; grandmother of Jay (Caitlin) Rudeen, Rachael (Jeff) Klos, Tony (Mindy) Kroll, Mike Kroll and Ashley Riddle; great-grandmother of Phoebe and Truman Klos and Ryder Rudeen. Also survived by brother, Robert "Pete" (Ruth) Deeg; sister-in-law, Marie Deeg; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Gerry shared her love of cooking, baking, embroidery and knitting with all and she will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 25, 2017, 12:00 P.M. at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street, St. Paul. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to an organization dear to Gerry's heart, The Butterfly Program, 2525 South Downing Street, Mason Hall Second Floor, Denver, Colorado 80210 www.thebutterflyprogram.org. This organization was her great-grandson Henry's Pediatric Palliative Care company. They serve children and their families who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Memorials may also be made to donor's choice.
