Gertrude Lorraine Thomason, 97 of Anacortes, WA was called home to God on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Gertrude was born on November 23, 1921 in St. Paul, MN; the daughter of Florian and Barbara (Leibei) Lachowitzer.

She is predeceased by her parents, brother and sister-in-law: Ben (Wyona) Lachowitzer, son: Frank Thomason, step-son and his wife: Sonny (Mary) Bergstrom. Gertrude is survived by her nine children: Ann Koehler, Marlene Clark, Ken Bergstrom, Kathy (Willy Webster), Leona Bergstrom, Christine Bergstrom, Russell (Tita) Bergstrom, Lenore (Dave Plassman) and daughter-in-law: Mary Thomason; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
