Gloria B. Adolphson (Halldeen)
Age 97 of Minneapolis. Passed away peacefully on January 26, 2019. Gloria, the oldest of five, graduated from South High and attended Minnesota Business School. She had many hobbies, including crafts, traveling, and playing the piano. She was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran, the Swedish Institute, Stenbock Lodge, John Morton Lodge, Minnehaha OES, Southside Singers and spent many hours volunteering in the community. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert, and siblings, Vernette Halldeen, Roy Haldeen Jr., and Vivian Cushing. She is survived by daughters Barbara Adolphson (Bob Christianson) and Robyn (Steve Huspek), grandchildren Cara (Travis) Christianson Riley, Cory (Megan) Huspek, Darcy Huspek, great-grandson Bennet Riley, sister Joyce Carlson. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, February 7 at Bradshaw 3131 Minnehaha Ave S., Mpls. Visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the Swedish Institute.
