Gloria Dirtzu

Gloria Dirtzu of Inver Grove Heights passed away on November 25th , 2024. She had immense love for family, her colleagues, music, and the north shore. Gloria began her career at MnDOT more than 34 years ago, when she started in the Office of Freight and Commercial Vehicle Operations as a Typist in March 1990. She then went to the Office of Administration in 2005, serving as an Information Desk specialist for nearly 20 years, providing courteous and timely information to MnDOT's customers and employees.

Gloria was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the many lives she touched by her compassion, inclusivity, and courageous personality.

Gloria Dirtzu was proceeded in death by her mother, Lucille Dirtzu, her father, Michael Dirtzu, Sr., her brother, Michael Dirtzu, Jr, her sister, Janet Dirtzu, and a beloved family friend, Jeffrey, who became like a son of sorts to Gloria.

She is survived by her two nieces, Melissa (CJ) Moore and Amber (Russ) Westman, and sister-in-law, Cynthia Dirtzu.

Celebration of life will be held Monday December 16th from 12pm to 2pm at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul MN
