Longtime Baytown resident died Feb. 4, 2005 from complications of
Parkinson?s disease. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Bertha; sister, Leona Seim and brother. Carl E. Weber. Survived by devoted wife of 48 years, Lorraine; nephews, Gordy (Margie) Seim, Steve (Diane) Seim, Charles Seim, Carl Weber, and Michael (Charlene) Weber; nieces, Elaine (Gene) Arnal, Karen (Scott) Johnson; brother-in-law, Daniel (Joan) Kornelyk; together with other relatives, friends and neighbors. Gordon was born in St. Paul on May 17, 1923, attended Jackman School in rural Baytown. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp in WWII spending 34 months in active duty in Guadalcanal, Guam, Okinawa-South Pacific. Retired from Wendt (Schmidt Beer) distributor after 33 years in 1980. Gordon enjoyed his hobby farm together with Belgian horses, 2 cats and best friend and companion, Maggie. He loved his country and proudly flew the United States, Minnesota and Marine Corp flags everyday. Member of Lake Elmo VFW and Bayport Legion. Service Tuesday 11AM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Hwy 5). Visitation Monday 6-8 PM and one hour prior to service. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Stillwater Veterans Memorial or Parkinson Assoc.
