55, died on August 14, 2009, unexpectedly of natural causes on a canoe trip in Canada. He was born May 8, 1954, in Austin, MN. He later moved with his family to Illinois. He graduated from Bemidji State College and taught high school English and Science in several cities in Minnesota. He was recently employed by Northwest Respiratory Services. He loved running, biking, canoeing, fishing, and expressed that love with wit and humor through his writing. He was a unique individual and will be sadly missed by his wife, Julie Lindstrom Myhre, his mother Gloria (Harold) Hyland, sister, Susan (Steve) Rutherford, brothers, Cory (Becky) Myhre, Rob Higbe and Kevin Higbe, his stepchildren, Lauren (Jonathan) Marino, Rosa, Raul, and Tori Parnell, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Myhre, stepmother, Phyllis Myhre, and sisters, Laurie Choate and Julie Williamson.
