Harry W. Hoffman, Jr.
Age 83, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Fort Atkinson, Sheboygan and Moshawquit Lake, WI. Preceded in death by parents, siblings, son-in-law, John Faeth and granddaughter, Julia Faeth. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Joan; children, Michael (Patricia Bayerlein) Hoffman, Pam (Jeff) Clarkin, and Beth Faeth; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Lukas Hoffman, Thalia Clarkin, Winter Ly, Ellie and Hannah Faeth; other family and friends.
After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Forestry from the University of Montana, Harry enjoyed a career as a business owner and executive. He ran the Hoffman Lumber Company and Laminated Industries in Fort Atkinson, and then became a national sales manager at Bemis Manufacturing Co. in Sheboygan Falls.
In his retirement, Harry continued his lifelong interest in coin collecting by becoming a coin appraiser. He was also an avid golfer, novice woodcarver and dedicated Packers fan. His greatest delight was being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren, who truly adored him.
In his last decade, Harry lived courageously and with grace through a challenging journey with cancer.
A memorial service celebrating Harry's life officiated by his daughter, the Rev. Beth Faeth will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 1900 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis with a reception to follow.
