Age 80 of Vadnais Heights
Passed away peacefully on May 10, 2019, surrounded by family. Helen was born in Fridley, MN to Evelyn and Herman Nieland. She graduated from Johnson High School in 1956 and Gustavus Adolphus College in 1958 with a degree in nursing. After working in family nursing for a short time, Helen was married in 1960 to Martin (Marty) Boehne and together they raised their four children in their home in Maplewood, MN. Helen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Marty; four children, Brad (Holly), Kris (Patrick), Bryan (Jennifer) Kari (Mark); six grandchildren, Blake, Nicole, Matthew, Kate, Alex, Erik. Helen loved her family very much and will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be 11AM Saturday, May 18 at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Dr, White Bear, with visitation one hour prior. Immediately following the service will be a luncheon and gathering to share stories and celebrate Helen's life. Interment at Union Cemetery to follow.
