Helen Gossell

Helen died peacefully on Feb 16 at the age of 98. A determined and energetic woman, she shared her spirit with many as a mom, grandma, Home Ec teacher, Sunday school teacher/admin, and volunteer. Born in 1920 she grew up in North Mpls. She spent the majority of her life in the Nokomis area of S. Mpls. She was an avid traveler, especially with husband Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy & Julie; grandchildren, Dylan and Molly; nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Jr, parents and brother, Philip. The last years of her life were nurtured at Eagle Crest Arbor. Funeral will be held on Friday, February 22nd at 11am, at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church, 5011 S. 31st Ave, Mpls with a Visitation beginning at 10am. In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred to donors choice.
