Helen Mccarthy

McCarthy, Helen T. (nee McGovern). Born August 2, 1927, died January 13, 2005. Helen attended St. Albert the Great grade school, St. Margaret's Academy, The College of St. Catherine and received a BA Degree in Education from the University of MN. Helen taught school in West Bend, WI, the Twin Cities and California. She is survived by her beloved husband, Emmett McCarthy; sisters, Mary Lois Merrick, Portland, OR and Nancy (John) Kopriva, Pocahontas, IA; brothers, David (Margie) McGovern, Dunnellon, FL and Brother Michael McGovern, O.P., Denver, CO; brother-in-law, Malcolm Robertson, Altona, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 11:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. ALBERT THE GREAT, E 29th Street & 32nd Ave S, Mpls. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church
