Helen lead a full life that took her in many directions; she was the President of the Stillwater Women's Reading Club, President of the Stillwater American Legion Women's Auxiliary, President of the St. Croix Valley Syttende Mai, Washington County Senior of the Year (2007), and Miss Stillwater (1938). Helen was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and an avid volunteer at Trinity, as well as Lakeview Hospital, where she earned her wings. She loved her family above all else, and she will be dearly missed. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Babe"; her 8 siblings; and her grandson, Hans. She is survived by her children, Judd (Angie), Maureen Paulson, and Deborah "Debi"; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and friends. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 19th, 11:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 4th St N, Stillwater, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will also be held Monday, June 18th, 5:00-8:00PM at Trinity. Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.The family would like to thank Oak Park Senior Living and Hospice for their care and compassion.
