Helen Lamb Rosbrook
Of Oak Park Heights, MN formerly of Sun City, AZ.
Passed away March 6, 2020 at age 101. Born September 29, 1918 in Rochester, New York. Preceded in death by husband Gifford Rosbrook. Survived by daughter, Barb (Dick) Locke; 4 grandchildren and spouses; 9 great grandchildren; a niece; and many treasured friends. As a child, Helen joined the Girl Scouts, earned the Golden Eaglet Award and later worked her way up to serve on the Leadership Board of Directors. Helen enjoyed being a member of various organizations including: church, served as a deacon, elder and on pastor search committees in Sun City, Christian Women’s Club Officer, book clubs, Chairman of Junior Volunteers at the Hospital in Sun City, AZ, PEO president, author of Baptist Church monthly newsletter and chairman of a golf league. Her hobbies including bowling, golf, reading, writing poetry and photography, which was her hidden talent. She had many photo shows over the years. She enjoyed traveling to Colorado, Idaho and Montana in the summer months to avoid the heat and loved that her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren would often join them! Helen & Giff moved in 2000 to Boutwells Landing, retirement community in Oak Park Heights, MN to be closer to family and enjoyed volunteering in a variety of roles there over the years.
