A service for Herbert J. Elness, age 78, of Stillwater, will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 609 So. 5th St. @ Walnut, in Stillwater, Thursday, 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5 - 8 PM @ Bradshaw Funeral Home, and one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Elness was a display director at Donaldson's and Young-Quinlan for many years.
He worked in sales and display at Kolliner's Department Store in Stillwater until retirement. He has been a greeter for Bradshaw Funeral Home for the past six years.
Mr. Elness died Sunday, February 16, at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Effell; his loving wife Paula; and brother-in-law, Bill Scheel. He was survived by sister-in-law, Carol Scheel; nieces, Diane (Dawa) Scheel, Barb (Roy) Carlson; nephew, Bill (Mary) Scheel; special friends, Ed, Corkee, Alex and Richard Stuart; and other relatives and numerous friends; and the staff at Bradshaw Funeral Home.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
