In Loving Memory of Hia Ly
Hia Ly, a caring wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023, at the age of 69. While our hearts ache at her departure, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose love, warmth and delicious creations brought joy to all who knew her.
Hia's love for her family was immeasurable. She found immense happiness in spending quality time with her loved ones, cherishing the moments they shared. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she embraced her role as a caring and nurturing matriarch. Hia's presence in their lives was a constant source of comfort, guidance and unwavering support.
One of Hia's greatest compassions was creating delicious meals for her loved ones. Her kitchen was a place of magic, where she effortlessly transformed fresh ingredients into culinary masterpieces. Hia was known for her exceptional talent in preparing authentic Vietnamese dishes. Her meals were a delight to the taste buds and brought people together in celebration of good food and great company. Hia's delight in perfecting her craft was matched only by the love she poured into every dish she served.
Hia will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, who are left with memories that will be cherished forever. She is survived by her loving husband, children and grandchildren, who will carry her legacy of love, kindness and culinary expertise into the future.
Services for Hia Ly will be Tuesday, June 27 at Bradshaw (1078 Rice St.)
Prayer Service and Meditation will begin at 9:15am, followed by a visitation at 10:30am.
Those attending the cremation ceremony will meet at Lakewood (3600 Hennepin Ave.) at 12:30pm.
In lieu of gifts or donations the family asks simply that you hold them in prayer during this time.
