Died unexpectedly August 8, 2004. Preceded in death by his mother, Jane Keen, father, Howard M. Ray, sister, Margaret, brother-in-law, Joel Hicks. Survived by loving wife, Eileen (Iten); children, Ron, Peg (Bob) Lichtenberg, Howard (Linda), John (Pam), Joe (Rose) and Ben; sisters, Beverly (George) Healy, Linda Hicks, Betty (Garry) Shropshire. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 godchild Amanda Nelson and other loving relatives and friends. Retired employee of Amherst H. Wilder Foundation and HealthEast of 42 years. Foster parent for Ramsey County for 32 years. Vice President of the downtown A.A. Club, Retired Freeman Motorcycle Club and member of several wood carving clubs. Avid wood carver, fisherman & hunter. The joys of this life were his grandchildren, spending time at the cabin and traveling. Service 12 Noon Saturday at BRADSHAW, 1174 Payne at Rose. Internment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation 2 hours prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
