Jack Petrie

Jack B Petrie, 60, of Stillwater, MN, passed away Nov. 26 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 17, 1952, in Pittsburg, CA, to Jack and Lorraine Petrie. Jack graduated from Michigan State University in 1974, and from Rush Medical School in 1981. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in 1984. He then joined the SHARE Medical Group in the Twin Cities, which later became the Aspen Medical Group. He originally worked at the Bandana Square clinic, finishing out his career as physician and site director at the Aspen Highland Park clinic. He was a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Jack is survived by his wife, Beverly Geber, sons Ian and Ben, of Stillwater, his mother, Lorraine Petrie, of Whitesboro, NY, and brother, Robert, of Whitesboro, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Petrie. Visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, with service at 2:30 p.m. Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society.
