Age 23, of Stillwater. Passed away surrounded by family on April 11, 2015. Preceded in death by grandfather, Bernie Godeke. Survived by parents, Larry and Gail; sister, Rachel; grandparents, Alice Godeke and Roger & Doreene Martell; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob was a graduate of Stillwater Area High School class of 2010 and was active in basketball and golf. He was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire majoring in biochemistry and earned his bachelor's degree. Jacob was a gentle, loving soul with a beautiful smile and will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00AM at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 813 Myrtle St W, Stillwater. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater as well as one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Karen Wyckoff Rein in Sarcoma Foundation.
